GOOD NEWS!!
Sassy & Spats had their bladder ultrasounds done this morning. Both ultrasounds showed no stones, cancer, or anything else life threatening. They just both have urinary tract infections that are being resistant to the antibiotic that they are taking. So, the vet will be changing their meds and keeping an eye on them. Okay, now Mommy can breathe.....

REMEMBERING
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Sick Taylor CatSSS -- SS (three out of five)
Hi everyone, just wanted to update you on Sassy, Spats & Sam.
Sassy and Spats, as you can see below, are recovering quite nicely from their urinary tract infections. They are still on meds and had to have x-rays and bloodwork done this week. All that came back fine. So they just needs to continue their meds.

Sam has been very sick. He has infected anal glands. He had to have shots and his little "bum" shaved. He will be on meds for a couple of weeks. As you can see, he is very lethargic. Don't worry, he is getting lots of extra TLC!

Seaborne's Grooming Experience
Seaborne: "Hello everyone. I have a scary story to tell, so if you are faint of heart, don't read the following: (ALSO MAKE SURE THAT ALL LITTLE ONES ARE OUT OF THE ROOM)
Now, not to brag, but I think I look pretty good in the picture above. Unfortunately, when Mommy tried to groom me, she found a lot of matted fur. So... she decided to give me a "good grooming".
These two pictures are of the "aftermath" of the grooming. Which, by the way, took over two hours. I am a 23lb. cat (all muscle)! Now I ask you...aren't these pictures scary?
Well, this is what I looked like after the "butchering"! Mommy isn't exactly the world's best groomer. I was not a happy cat!
This is what Mommy's arm looked like after this "so called grooming"! I ...well, kinda lost my temper and put the "bitey" on her. Now I ask you...wouldn't you have done the same? I love my Mommy, but JUST LOOK AT WHAT SHE DID TO ME!
Well, this is what I look like after my fur has grown out some. Not bad, eh? I have forgiven Mommy and she has forgiven me. She is brushing me a lot these days, so that my fur won't get matted again.

Yes, I am posing on a pink flowered comforter. It is on Tatum's bed and she is my favorite human. Besides, I am very secure in my masculinity!

MOMMY'S NEW FRIEND "MOE"!
Meet Moe! He is our neighbor. Mommy loves to play him! He is a French Bulldog. His mommy, Margi, brought him over to visit. He is staring in the house at Spats (my tortie kitty). They look alike, well....except for the fact that Spats is a kitty and Moe is a woofie! Isn't he adorable!
