I'm Not Happy!

My favorite human is leaving for England today. Tatum will be gone until next June. She is going there for her Junior year of college. I've been getting lots of kisses and snuggles. Mommy says that she will bring me to the web cam so that I can see Tatum and talk to her. I'm going to miss her very much. Is 9 months a long time? :(

ZOOLATRY RULES!!!

Aren't these absolutely fantastic?
Maggy & Zoey at www.Zoolatry.blogspot.com did them for Mommy! She especially wanted Seaborne done because Tatum (his favorite human) is leaving for England in about 8 days to study for 9 months. Tatum is so upset about having to leave Seaborne! Maggy & Zoey did more "Seaborne Studies" and Mommy will post those as well. They are so creative! Special thanks from Mommy to them!

Seaborne's bags are packed!
Triple threat!

This one is Mommy's favorite!

The Mites are Ready for Adoption

Well, that time has come. Dinah and her Mites are ready to go to their Forever Homes. If you would like to adopt Dinah and/or a Mite or two and you meet the following criteria:

1. Loving home (INDOOR ONLY)

2. Provide plenty of attention

3. Would be willing to keep us updated by blogging (if you don't know how to blog, we will be happy to teach you!)

PLEASE LET US KNOW THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING. (We've used Continental to fly kitties everywhere, so the mites can travel if necessary)

Whose in the Basement?

Spats: "Hi everyone. We have had a bit of a mystery around the Taylor House. Mommy keeps going down to the basement (where we aren't allowed to go) and she keeps talking about playing with someone named "Augusta" or "Gussy". Now, we Taylor CatSSSSS were wondering if Mommy got another kitty and was hiding it from us. So, we kept an eye out for an open basement door. Finally, an opportunity! I quickly ran down the stairs and this is what I found:"

MEET "AUGUSTA" aka "GUSSY". Mommy's new computer. She named her Augusta because that is when she was made. So, this is what is keeping her in the basement so much!

Sassy: "I told you that there wasn't another kitty down there! No one ever listens to me!"

DEDICATED TO ALL THE HEROES OF 9/11

The World Came Down

The World in fire and smoke and tears came down;

Our lives as papers fluttered through the air;

Wind carried dust and prayers throughout the town

And world; both far and near, we all were there.

We heard the cries and watched the dreadful crash

Where we were, which we always shall recall,

Saw men as ghosts cloaked in a veil of ash

Who appeared and fled for nowhere at all.

In the midst of confusion and debris

Were heroes who were willing there to give

Their lives in such devoted bravery,

All in the hope that others there could live,

And many did exactly that, and they

Live on; as heroes they'll forever stay.

Looking back now still gives us cause to weep;

To think that day our history went awry,

Which since has robbed us of our breath and sleep,

Began as any 'neath September sky.

Who knew this beautiful day soon would see

Five thousand souls rise with the smoke to dwell

With God in Heaven for eternity,

And nineteen more descend in fire to Hell.

How sad it took this terror and demise,

These lives, to make us proud and free and one;

We'll not forget the world changed right before our eyes

When rubble stands no more before the rising sun.

A flag now waves against that silhouette;

The World came down, but we are standing yet.

SICK SAM I AM

Sam had to spend the day at the vet...again! He has tummy problem causing issues. Also, some blood in his tinkle. The vet has him on new antibiotics, new food and some other things to help make him more comfortable. He is resting at the moment.
