Dedicated to sweet "Bear"

We lost a good friend today. Bear Sherwood went to the Bridge early this morning. All the Taylor's want to dedicate this blog to her memory. Bear didn't know that she was a "woofie". She was convinced she was a cat. We think that she is at the Bridge playing with both the "woofies" and kitties. She is demonstrating her amazing ability to purr! God Bless Sweet Bear!

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; her eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, she breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...

We agree with your Lady. Our Lady has had leaky eyes a lot! Bear was such a sweet kitty-woofie. We never met her, but our Mommy did and she has told us all about this wonderful woofie who thought she was a kittie.

Purrs!

Dear ML,

The Royals vere very young, but I'm sure they weren't a bit scared of Bear when they met her, Missy and Charlie.
I know in Earth days, it will seem like a real long time before we get to see our pets who are waiting at the Bridge. But in God's time, for the critters there, it's a few games of chase and a good nap or two until they see us again.
We SHOULD keep our fuzzy babies close to heart, because I know for a fact their Angels are playing with them until I can join them again!
ML, We Love You! Be good to yourself as you allow the stages of mourning to take their course.
We're purraying for you and think of you and the Sherwoods throughout the day. Bear is now meeting up with my Woofie, Baggins, who also thought he was a kitty! Big ol' 70 pound Basset Hound has already introdued Bear to all the critters, I know!
