Spats: "Hi! Well, as you can see, I am NOT lying on Mommy. That is because the doctor told her that she could get up and walk around....a little bit! But...she is NOT allowed to pick up anything heavier than one of us kitties...whoops....let me rephrase that....one of us GIRL kitties (the boys weigh 18 & 22 pounds!)! So, I am keeping an eye on The Woman! Thank you to everyone for their encouraging words and purrs for Mommy. She really appreciates everyone and everykitty's kindness!
In honor of Mommy being able to walk around a little bit, she wanted to show you the last walk around D.C. with The Big Guy (aka Daddy). This was a couple of weeks ago.
Cherry Blossom Tree
Beautiful Azaleas!
A little fevver that Mommy thought was cute.
The Washington Monument...view from the top of the Old Post Office. The Mall.
A friendly squirrel!Mr. Squirrel liked to pose!
The White House!
(Sam thinks it should be painted pink...but then Sam wants everything to be pink!)
We hope that you enjoyed the walk around D.C.

It's great that the people v-e-t is letting your mom walk around a little..since she can't pick the heavy boys, that means she has to sit down for a rest every now and then and pet them!
Oh we are so happy that your Mom is getting better each day. WE know it is all the special TKC (tender kitty care) that you are all giving her plus all the healing purrs being sent her way...
Just dont' let her over do...keep up the good work.

What a lovely walk but I hope your person doesn't go out and do it again soon, as I think that goes beyond walk around a little bit...
Thanks for the walking tour of DC! I am glad your mom is improving and able to move around a little bit.
Auntie Deb, Glad you are doing better.
We think while this is fresh in your mind, we should put in for your felines to receive commendations and awards for their nursing and bodyguard skills demonstrated during your worst days. Edible ones would be appreciated, but ones shaped like toys or bedding would probably do.
Wow, that was a super tour! The Azaleas are especially lovely! Glad to hear your Mom is doing better. Sit on her, if you have to!
Fank you for sharing those lovely photos!! It's been a while since Mommy (or Daddy, even) has been to DC.
