A SQUILLION POEM

The Taylor Squillions

Written by resident poet:
Sam Sun Taylor

There was a Squillion named Orinch
Who could speak a little bit of French.
ML & Charley found her
And circumstances being what they were,
Decided Orinch should fly to Maryland.
And that’s how it all began.

Orinch came to live at the Taylor’s home.
And never again would she have to roam.
When Deb got to her new place,
And first saw Orinch’s sweet face,
She was such a goner,
That Orinch got a place of honor.

Now Orinch was happy on her shelf.
But soon tired of sitting by herself.
So Deb had a plan,
And a search soon began.
A daughter for Orinch was needed
And with Peachy they succeeded!
Now we heard of a Squillion in trouble
And hurried to help on the double.
Joocy really like his food.
But some folks thought it was crude.
That on his face dribbled
A bit of what he nibbled.
The Taylor Squillions thought these folks were wrong,
And that Joocy should come along,
And live with them both on the shelf,
Instead of living by himself.
Cause they didn’t care that his face
Showed a little of what he ate.

Now they are all living on the shelf.
A little family all to themselves.
The Taylor Squillion family
Living together quite happily
