THE ADVENTURE!

Five empty Prisoner Transport Units!  What does this mean?

Oh no!  We are trapped!  Help!!!!!

What do you mean?  We ALL have to go to the vet?  Are you crazy?

Spats:  "Hmm....I smell something weird under this door at the vet!"

Seaborne:  "If I can't see her, then she can't see me!  Right???"

Summer:  "Now remember, I am carrying a little holiday weight!"

Spats:  "Okay, just get my weight!  I'll be furry good!"

Sassy:  "Hey, Mommy won't get on a scale, why do I have to!"

Sam:  "Remember, I AM very floofy!  That counts for at least 10 pounds, right?"

Seaborne:  "I want to state for the record that I am not happy about this situation!"

"Yes, I know you are a nice vet tech, but I would rather not have my bum shaved!"

"Sloane, I do love you so very much.  Thanks for the extra loving!"

"Fine, do what you must!  Just do it quickly before I change my mind!"

"I want it noted for the record that I am being a very good kitty!"

Sassy & Spats are finished and ready to go home!

Summer:  "Now Doctor, remember that you are bound by Patient/Doctor confidentiality and cannot reveal my weight!"

Sassy:  "What a day!  I am exhausted!"

 uSS too!

 I'm already asleep!

I'm headed upstairs for a nap!

The catSSSSS were great at for the vet.  Sassy got a great check-up and her heart condition is under control.  They all got their shots and blood work.  They have sworn me to secrecy concerning their weight, but suffice it to say the the boySS need to lose some weight!

I am changing their dry food to one that the vet recommended.  Also, they will not have access to food at night.

This is their routine:

All the catSSSSS sleep in their own bedroom at night.  They go to bed at 10:00 p.m. and they stay in their bedroom (which has five potties, two water fountains, two big windows to look out of, a cat tree and lots of cozy blankies and beds).  If I don't put them to bed at 10:00 p.m., they come looking for me because they are ready for bed and want me to "tuck" them in.

When I get up around 6:00 a.m., I let them out and they get their Fancy Feast for breakfast.  Then they get the run of the house until bedtime.

After taking them all to the vet today, Sloane and I were EXHAUSTED!  Of course, the catSSSSS sang to us the WHOLE way there and back!  Sassy completed the trip by getting carsick and throwing up everywhere on the way home.

Thank goodness for Sloane! I could not have managed this adventure without her help!

So, are YOU exhausted after reading about our adventure?

Hope that you have a restful day!

You are very brave taking app 5 at one time. I thought I was crazy for taking 2 or 4 at a time!

I am amazed that you were able to bring all 5 at once! The most I've ever attempted is two at a time!

We're glad you're all doing well and we won't mention the 'D' word!

Woah. Even I appreciate how difficult that must have been... Rumbleparents have enough trouble getting ME into a carrier, can't imagine how it is with FIVE! *awed look*

All five of you went to the vet at ONCE?! And your humans survived the ordeal? And you all survived the ordeal too? That is pretty amazing!

All 5 at once?! *Mom Kim faints*

She can't even manage 2 at once without a HUGE amount of stress! That would call for a glass of wine...or a shot of Scotch or something, once home again. LOL.

We're glad all is well, though! As for the weight...We boys have to lose several pounds between us, but poor Annie really is wasting away to nothing. If only we could do a weight transfer.....

Wow! Give Sloane and Auntie Deb a hand for taking all five of you at once. I'm glad everything went well, except for the big D word.

Whew, we are exhausted just reading about that trip. Glad everyone is OK except for a few extra pounds but we all have that. Our Mom is interested in what kibbles the vet recommended?? Is Sassy on lasix?? We have one with a heart condition too. Great post. We loved all the pictures.

Wow, five at a time! Our mum is impressed! When she used to have eleven kitties she would take three at a time, two smaller kitties in one carrier and a bigger one in the other. She said that was bad enough. We are sorry about the evil D word.

I also cannot believe that you brought ALL FIVE AT ONCE!! OMC!!

They are just wonderful at the vet and I have to say that your vet and vet techs look like they are so much fun and so very loving which makes it that much easier!

They shouldn't have to tell their weight!!!! lol

I am glad that everyone tested well and that everything is good and under control!
That is the best New Year's news ever!!

definitely exhausted just reading. They have their own room? Jaaaaaaaaaaaaan, we want our own room too!

Wow! You and Sloane deserve medals or something! Taking all five cats to the vet at once is quite the feat.

It's a good thing they were so well-behaved, though obviously Sassy succumbed to nervous tension.

I love the pictures of them all in their cages, and then afterwards when they're all back safely home again.

Wow, that was a BIG adventure taking 5 to the v-e-t!

We think Seaborne's expression and floofy face reminds us a little bit of Fat Eric in that picture where he is looking up, so extra hugs for lovely Seaborne.

Your cat room sounds like kitty heaven!
