SASSY'S SPECIAL REPURRT

Hi everyone!  I am here to tell you that Mommy is between a rock and a hard place.  She hasn't felt much like rockin' around the clock!  However she is as steady as a rock!  She has been drinking cranberry juice on the rocks.  As always, her head is as hard as a rock!  She is just a stone's throw away from feeling better.  She will leave no stone unturned until she is well.  Her determination is carved in stone!

Okay, I am going to see if I can rock her to sleep!

Have you figured out what Mommy's problem is?

Oh no, poor Auntie Deb! It is not fair that you are getting more pain. We are sending you extra strong rock dissolving purrs.

As soon as we read "cranberry juice on the rocks" we knew what it was. We're sorry--we've heard that kidney stones are painful beyond description--and we're purring that your mom is better very soon!

OMG!!! Tell your Mommy she HAS to email me! cgittleman at mi dot rr dot com

I AM THE QUEEN OF KIDNEY STONES!!!

I have a type of kidney called "medulary sponge kidneys" and their JOB is to MAKE stones. I was born with this condition and I have HUNDREDS of tiny stones...ALL THE TIME.

I have had FOUR lithotripsies (where you have them smashed) and many emergency room visits. The only way I can manage mine is I have to drink water (over 120 ounces A DAY)

Depending on the type of stone you have...believe it or not...cranberry juice is NOT good. Cranberry juice is good for urinary tract infections (which I get as a result of stones) but it isn't good for kidney stones (some kidney stones). Water w/lemon (real lemon) is supposed to help shrink the stone.

I am soooooo sorry for your Mommy because I soooooo KNOW how painful this is!

I would rather have another baby than another kidney stone. The Dr. told my husband that kidney stones in a man were to show them what labor is like!

WE hope these pass, soon!

Good thoughts and a wish for a quick 'passing' of the problems.
