Mine Mommy ML talked to Auntie Deb on tha phone this morning.
Of course, them's still in shock and saddness from tha sudden loss of Seaborne.
I know we's missing Seaborne, him was like a brofur to us.
What we didn't know was that Sam has been in the vet hospitle for over a week, in intensive care
wif kidney blockage.
Tha vet said that grieving over him's lost brofur could have stressed him out enuff to get sick.
Auntie Deb said she was too upset to even write about it on tha bloggie.
We's so glad Sam is okay and I betcha Sam and Auntie Deb would love to see some belated purrs, grrrs and purrayers.

We are so sorry that Sam has been sick! WE know the kitties grieve as much as the beans do! We hope he is home and feeling better!
Poor Sam! We are sending him lots of purrs to feel better.When I, Flynn,was young,I got severe cystitis when Kitty Yumbum went to The Bridge. It was nowhere near as bad as a kidney blockage though. The vet said it was most likely caused by stress.
We are sending purrs, love and (((hugs))) to Auntie Deb too.
I know how Sammy and Seaborne were "so together", it is sad he has lost his best friend ... and I imagine the vet may be correct in that the stress caused him to fall ill. We'll hope and purr and pray he is back home again soon, and back to the best of health.
Oh, no, we're so sorry to read this, we can only too well imagine Deb's mental and emotional state at this time, if she's anything like our own mom.

Oh dear...our Sam is sending lots of purrs to your Sam!!! We hope things will be much better for you all soon.
Purring that Sam will continue to feel better. Kitties do morn for their bros and sisfurs. Our Jet was very sad for months after Venus went to the Bridge. And never really recovered. He died just 9 months later from undiagnosed HCM - a broken heart. Sam has other cats to help him adjust - a very good thing. Love him as much and as often as possible.
