UPDATES........

Sassy: "Hi! I just wanted to update everyone!"

1. ML, Charley and all the Sherwood kitties are doing fine. They weathered the storm without problems. They don't have any electricity and don't know when it will be restored. But, they are all safe and sound!

2. Mommy's sister, Retta's house was fine except for a few lost shingles and the fence is gone. Unfortunately, some of her neighbors in town were not so lucky. They lost their homes. Retta doesn't have electricity and it could be a while before it is restored.

3. We've heard that Marylynn, Grace, Audace, Ruse and their family are doing fine. They are also without electricity.

4. Nana (Mommy's mother) was evacuated to a nursing facility in Navasota, Texas. She is doing fine and will remain there until power can be restored at the nursing facility in Baytown,Texas, where she resides.

Mommy has talked to many of her friends in Houston and they seem to be doing fine.

The biggest problem appears to be the lack of electricity. Now, in Houston, Texas in the month of September, the temperatures can soar into the 100 degree point easily. Lack of electricity can be a terrible problem. Thankfully, everyone is doing okay, but let's hope that the power company can get the electricity back to people ASAP.

CONTINUED PRAYERS FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THIS

MAJOR CATASTROPHIC HURRICANE WOULD BE

APPRECIATED.

Oh, and Mommy is doing much better. She is being very careful about the stairs! We are watching her! The injections seemed to have worked this time! Thank you to everyone for your get well wishes!

Yay for everyone being safe. That's what is most important. Stuff can be fixed. We are purring that the electricity will be restored soon. Having lived in Floirda for so many years, we know how that feels. Blech. We know all the emergency teams are working diligently!

We are so happy everyone is ok. Purring very hard that the electricity is restored soon. Sock's remembers being without electricity after Katrina and he says it's no fun.

Glad the shots are working for your Mum, we will continue to purr for her also. ~S,S & C

Thank you for the updates. We are appalled at how little news there is in such a big city! Everything we are hearing about is Galveston but we have wanted to know about our friends in Houston!

We hope your Mom keeps feeling better and better.

Hey Taylor Catsssss! I wanted to stop by and tell you how much we've missed you. Sorry I haven't been around!

Thank you for the updates. We're glad that those you know are doing well (even though some lost electricity). We will continue to purr/ay for the hurricane victims AS WELL AS your poor mommy. Glad that it sounds like she's getting better, though!

I'm glad everyone is safe. I hope we don't get anymore big ones to hit the coasts.

Thanks for the update on the Houston gang. My Princess Mia Bella and her beans are OK too, also no electric.

Auntie Deb, you take care, no more bouncing down the stairs on your bum.

We are glad that everyone is okay. Mom has an aunt that lives in Louisiana that was right on the edge of the storm, but is okay too. We agree with Derby - No more bouncing down the stairs on your backside.
